NCIS versus Soilbleed
A very, very rough version of a versus remix. I might have to give up on this idea because the tonalities are way too different.

I Like to Destillat
I think I heard a versus remix of Das Ich’s Destillat against Reel 2 Real’s I Like to Move It about five years ago. My memory was awoken when I heard the VNV Nation remix of Destillat on Friday, but I cannot find the “versus” version anywhere — so here is my version instead!

Vertigo
This musical track is my first full track created in Propellerhead Reason, and is fairly raw form at the moment: effects chains are incomplete, equalisers aren’t set properly, generally the mix is in need of “tarting up”. After buying some Jean Michel Jarre vinyl while in London, I think I can hear his influence in the choice of synth at the start. From there things go a little crazy. The tonality vaguely hovers around G-rooted aeolian and G-rooted melodic minor, though there are a lot of chromaticisms sprinkled into the textures that get layered up.
I hope the soundscape evokes the vertiginous nausea of looking down from the top of a bungee jump…
